About

This is the written half of the Rom Flasher channel. Every video gets a page here with the same steps in text, so nothing has to be watched at 0.5x with a finger on pause.

How these guides are written

Each one is written after actually doing the job on the device named in the title. Steps that only work on one firmware version are called out. So are the parts that are genuinely fiddly.

What is covered

• Bootloader unlocking, and the waiting period that comes with it
• Custom ROM installs, from recovery and from fastboot
• Rooting, kernels, custom recoveries and fixing bootloops
• Honest battery, camera and performance notes after flashing

The tool and the channel

The free Rom Flasher tool is open source and lives on GitHub. New videos land on YouTube. 184 guides so far.
