ROM downloader
Type the phone you actually have — poco x7 pro, redmi note 13, CPH2451, whatever is written on the box — and this page takes you straight to that brand's own firmware download page. Recovery ROM and Fastboot ROM are both spelled out for each brand, because which one you need depends on whether the phone still boots.
Start typing — the list below filters to your brand.

Four routes, depending on what you need on the phone:
Stock ROM download
A stock ROM is the firmware your phone shipped with. You want it back when a custom ROM left something broken, when the phone bootloops, or when you are selling the phone and want it clean. Two file types show up for almost every brand, and picking the wrong one is the usual reason a flash fails:
- Recovery ROM (also called an OTA or full OTA zip). A big
.zipyou install from the phone's own updater or from recovery. It keeps your data if the version is newer, and it is the safer one. - Fastboot ROM (also called a factory image). A
.tgzor a folder with aflash_allscript inside. It writes every partition, so it can rescue a phone that no longer boots — and it wipes your data.
Rule of thumb: phone boots → Recovery ROM. Phone does not boot → Fastboot ROM.
Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO
MIUI / HyperOS recovery ROM — the full zip you flash in the phone's own updater or in recovery
Fastboot ROM — the .tgz package that contains the flash_all script
Firmware downloadsmiuirom.org — official Xiaomi / HyperOS firmware index
Pick your exact model, then the region (Global, India, EEA, China). The codename must match the one on your phone's bootloader screen.
OnePlus
OxygenOS / ColorOS full OTA zip — local install from the phone's own update screen
Fastboot ROM — the full signed package with flash-all.bat
Firmware downloadsOnePlus Downloads & Updates (India)
OnePlus lists them as Downloads & Updates. Match your exact model and region, because an EU build and an IN build are not interchangeable.
Google Pixel
Full OTA image — sideload it from recovery, no data wipe needed
Factory image — the flash-all package for fastboot
Firmware downloadsFactory Images for Nexus and Pixel
Google publishes both formats in the open, with the build hash beside each one. Check the anti-rollback warning at the top of the page before going back a version.
realme
realme UI / RMUI OTA zip — local update from the phone's settings
Flash-tool package — for the OPPO / realme download tool on a PC
Firmware downloadsrealme Software & Driver Update (India)
Choose your exact product in the list. realme ships most of its images as an update-tool package rather than a plain fastboot zip.
OPPO
ColorOS OTA zip — local install from the phone
Flash-tool firmware — for the OPPO / realme download tool on a PC
Firmware downloadsOPPO India support & software updates
Two phones with the same shop name can have different firmware. Match the model code (CPH####), not the nickname.
vivo / iQOO
Funtouch OS / OriginOS OTA package — via the built-in software update
Flash-tool firmware — for the vivo flash tool on a PC
Firmware downloadsvivo India support & software
vivo publishes by model code, and the flash tool is PC-only for most models, so plan for a computer here.
Motorola / Lenovo
Full OTA zip — sideload from recovery
Factory image — fastboot package with flashfile.xml
Firmware downloadsMotorola software updates & downloads
Motorola's own list is the one that matters here: a lot of mirrors carry region builds that will not match your software channel.
Samsung
Full OTA — through the phone's own update screen
Odin firmware — the .tar.md5 package, flashed with Odin, not fastboot
Firmware downloadsSamsung India support & firmware
Samsung does not use fastboot. The equivalent is Odin plus a firmware tar, and the CSC code has to match your region.
Nothing / CMF
Full OTA zip — sideload from recovery
Factory image — fastboot package
Firmware downloadsNothing support & software downloads
Nothing posts both the OTA and the factory image on its own support site, and the builds are versioned openly.
Nokia
Full OTA — from the phone's own update screen
Firmware package — for the HMD / Nokia flashing tool
Firmware downloadsNokia phones support & software
Older Nokia Android phones are the ones with public fastboot images; newer HMD models lean on the built-in updater.
Micromax / Lava / Karbonn / Tecno / Infinix / itel
Full OTA — through the phone's own updater
Firmware package — usually a PC flash tool per model
Firmware downloadsMicromax support & software
These brands publish far less in the open. The built-in updater is the reliable route; a service centre is the fallback when a phone will not boot at all.
Magisk
Magisk is the root method most people end up on, because it
keeps root out of the system partition: you patch the phone's own
boot or init_boot image, flash that back, and the
system stays untouched. That is what lets banking apps and Play Integrity
survive.
- Magisk
releases on GitHub — download the
.apkfrom the latest release, not from a mirror. - Magisk documentation — the install steps, straight from the author.
Grab the boot image for your exact build first (it is inside the factory image or the OTA zip above), patch it in the Magisk app, then flash the patched file with the free Rom Flasher tool over USB-OTG — no PC needed.
KernelSU
KernelSU is the other modern root route, and it works differently: root lives inside the kernel itself, so you flash a patched kernel rather than patching a boot image. On phones with a GKI kernel it is the cleanest option, and some custom kernels ship with it already built in.
- KernelSU releases on GitHub
- KernelSU documentation — which kernels are supported and how to install
Whichever of the two you pick, keep a copy of the stock boot or kernel image you replaced. That copy is what gets you out of a bootloop later.
ROM download
For custom ROMs and the recovery that installs them, the project's own page is always the right source — it is the only one that is current on which device codename a build supports.
- LineageOS downloads — builds per codename, plus the recovery
- TWRP devices — the official recovery list
- Evolution X and crDroid on SourceForge
- NikGApps — Google apps packages that match your Android version
Then follow the written guide for your phone on this site — every step, in the same order as the video.
How to find your exact model
Half of all failed flashes come down to a codename mismatch. Two minutes of checking saves that:
- On the phone: Settings → About phone shows the model name and often the model code. Tap the build number a few times for developer options if you need the exact build.
- In fastboot: the codename is printed on the fastboot screen, and
fastboot getvar productreturns it. - In recovery: the filename of the zip you are about to flash should contain that exact codename. If it does not, stop.
Frequently asked questions
Why does this page link out instead of hosting the files?
Firmware belongs to the manufacturer, and this site does not have a licence to redistribute it. Hosting someone else's ROM would also mean serving a file that is out of date within weeks. Sending you to the brand's own download page means you always get the current build, from the source that signs it.
Recovery ROM or Fastboot ROM — which one do I want?
If the phone still boots and you just want the stock firmware back, use the Recovery ROM. If the phone will not boot, or you want to be certain every partition is stock, use the Fastboot ROM — it wipes data but it is the one that rescues a brick.
Can my phone's bootloader stay locked?
For a Recovery ROM from the phone's own updater, yes. For a Fastboot ROM or any custom ROM, no — the bootloader has to be unlocked first, and on most brands that erases the phone.
Do I need a computer?
Not for a Recovery ROM, and not for flashing a patched boot image if you use the free Rom Flasher tool over USB-OTG. A Fastboot ROM is easier on a PC, though, because that is what the bundled scripts are written for.
Is my data safe?
A Recovery ROM of a newer version keeps your data. A Fastboot ROM wipes it. Either way, take a backup first — and note that unlocking a bootloader usually erases the phone on its own.
What if my brand is not listed?
Use the search box and check the closest entry, then go straight to that brand's support site and look for a "software", "downloads" or "firmware" section. Every manufacturer has one; it is just named differently each time.
