Step 1 — Verify ADB Connection

Connect your Xiaomi Pad 5 to your host phone using an OTG cable. Open Rom Flasher Tool. Ensure Xiaomi Pad 5 ADB is recognized at the top of the app.

Step 2 — Reboot to Fastboot Mode

Inside Rom Flasher Tool, navigate to Reboot Options, tap Reboot to Fastboot, and confirm. Your Xiaomi Pad 5 will reboot immediately into Fastboot mode.
