Still Coding Python, Tool Website & Custom ROM Update — #Shorts
Part of 2026 guides.
A quick status update: the Python work, the tool website and the custom ROM work
are all still moving. Nothing got dropped and nothing is finished either. This
clip has no flashing and no files in it, just the honest picture of what is
running right now.
The video starts muted so it does not blast at you — tap the speaker to hear it, or open it on YouTube.
This is the update I would send a friend rather than film properly. Coding,
Python and the custom ROM work are all still going. Nothing has been abandoned,
and nothing has a launch date either.
If you have been waiting to hear what is happening, that is the honest version.
Things are spread across a few projects at once, so I am not going to throw out
dates I cannot keep.
What is actually running
- The Python side. Ongoing. This is the part that does the quiet work
behind everything else, from file handling to the release packaging.
- The tool website. Still in progress. Layout, tool writes and the download
pages all take longer than they look from the outside.
- Custom ROM work. Carrying on at the same pace, with new builds tested on
real hardware rather than sitting in a folder.
- Coding in general. The glue. When one of the other three stalls, this is
usually why.
What is not in this clip
No flashing. No file walkthrough. No install steps, no downloads opened, no
device on the desk. If you came here to flash something today, this is not the
video that will get you there, and pretending otherwise would waste your time.
Why no dates
Because I have watched what happens when people promise a date and miss it. You
get a comment asking where the file is, then another one, then people assume the
project died. Better to say it is moving and show you when it lands.
The website work and the ROM work run side by side. Coding keeps the rest glued
together. When there is something you can download and use, it will get a proper
video with the steps on screen, not a status note.
What you can do while you wait
If you are keen to flash something now, you do not need to wait for any of this.
The free Rom Flasher tool and the ADB and fastboot files are already available in
the downloads listed with this video, and they are the same ones I use.
A few things worth doing before your next flash, whatever build you pick:
- Back up. Unlocking the bootloader wipes the phone, and so does a clean
flash. Get your photos and files off the device first.
- Check the model. A build for a different variant will flash happily and
then refuse to boot. Match it exactly.
- Read the install notes twice. Small details like a required format step or
a specific recovery version are where most dead phones come from.
- Keep your files handy. Once you have the platform tools and the driver, you
are set for every flash after this one.
That is the whole update. Short, no promises, and the work continues.

Use the file built for your exact model and region. A package for another variant is the quickest way to a phone that will not boot.
Full description from the video
Quick update. Coding, Python and the custom ROM work are all still moving — nothing got dropped.
🎬 In This Clip
- A fast status check on what's running right now
- Python side and the tool website are both still in progress
- Custom ROM work is carrying on at the same pace
- No flashing, no files — this one is only the update
If you've been waiting to hear what's happening, this is the honest picture. Things are spread across a few projects at once, so I'm not throwing out fake dates. The website work and the ROM work run side by side, and coding keeps the rest of it glued together. That's it — short and straight.
Common questions
Did the custom ROM work stop?
No. It is still going at the same pace. This clip is a status update, not a
notice that something ended.
When will the tool website be finished?
There is no date yet. The Python side and the website work run alongside the
ROM work, and I would rather show you a finished thing than a promised one.
Is there a ROM or a download in this video?
No. There is no flashing in this clip and no files are opened. It is only the
update, and the tool links sit in the downloads listed with the video.
Can I flash something right now while I wait?
Yes. The free Rom Flasher tool and the ADB and fastboot files are already
available, and there are full install videos on the channel that walk through
the steps on a real device.
What should I do before my next flash?
Back up anything you care about, confirm the ROM matches your exact model, and
read the install notes twice. Skipped formats and wrong files cause more dead
phones than any build does.
Before you flash
- Back up everything you would miss — unlocking and flashing usually wipe the phone.
- Check the file is built for your exact model and region.
- Keep a PC and a working cable around so a bootloop can be recovered.
