Xiaomi 11T Pro + EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 MIUI 13 Stable Build
Part of Xiaomi guides, MIUI guides, 2022 guides.
EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 is a stable MIUI 13 build for the Xiaomi 11T Pro, sitting on an Android 12 base. It is a polish pass rather than a rebuild, with a new installer that takes around 40 seconds and fixes for the notification shade, the calls log page and the power menu. If you want extra MIUI features without moving to AOSP, this is the build for you.

EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 is the stable branch for the 11T Pro, and I want to set expectations right at the top. This is not a new Android version and it is not a rebuild. It is MIUI 13 on an Android 12 base, gone over end to end by the team, with the rough edges sanded down.
That sounds like a small thing. It is not, because the items they fixed are the ones you touch every single day.
What it looks like out of the box
It boots into MIUI. Same launcher, same notification shade, same Settings tree. If you handed the phone to someone who had never seen a custom ROM, they would not notice anything odd at first. That is the point of this build — it looks stock until you go looking.
The parts that give it away are the extras. There is a theme server chooser under Other options. There are font and size controls for contact names and numbers. The extended power menu is a change you notice the first time you hold the power button.
What changed in this build
The changelog is long, but the meaningful parts are:
- Base updated, with the ROM rebuilt on top of it
- Multi-language support across all apps
- GPU Tuner enabled by default
- New app shortcuts on CC13 tiles, plus a switch in Control Center settings to turn them off
- An animation menu for the CC13 tiles, with several options to pick from
- Customisation for contact name and number fonts and sizes
- Themes server chooser added in Other options
- Power menu fixes, plus a new extended power menu
- Notification background colouring fixed
- Default colouring of the calls log page fixed
- New 40-second installer using a new method
- Latest MIUI launcher, Contacts, Messages, Permissions and App Vault apps
- Notification menu crashes for some users fixed
What actually feels different day to day
The notification background colouring bug is the sort of thing that sounds trivial and is not. If you use dark mode and a coloured notification came up with the wrong text contrast, you know the annoyance. It is fixed here.
The calls log page default colouring is in the same category. Some people never notice it. The people who notice it will be glad.
The power menu changes matter more than they sound. A power menu that behaves unpredictably is one of those things that makes a phone feel unfinished, and that is dealt with, with an extended version on top.
Then there is the installer. Around 40 seconds is fast for a MIUI flash, and a short install means less time with a phone sitting on a cable waiting for something to go wrong.
What was removed
Not every change is an addition, and the removals are telling.
- Charging colours feature removed
- A buggy feature removed from the calls settings page
The charging colours removal is the kind of decision that splits people, but a stable branch is the wrong place for a feature that causes complaints. Removing it is a reasonable call.
What is broken
Nothing major is listed. The known problems are the ones this build fixed — notification colouring, calls log colouring, notification menu crashes for some users, and the power menu behaviour. If you were already on an earlier EliteRomNG build, these are the four reasons to move.
Who should install it
- Someone who wants MIUI and not AOSP, but is tired of the stock preload and wants the extra controls.
- Anyone who wants a custom ROM that still feels like MIUI, so the interface learning curve is zero.
- People who are fine with a custom build and the small upkeep that comes with it.
- Anyone who has been on an older EliteRomNG build and wants the fixes without changing what the phone feels like.
If you want stock MIUI exactly as Xiaomi shipped it, this is not for you, and that is fine.
Things you need to know before flashing
- Unlocked bootloader. There is no way around it, and unlocking wipes the phone the first time.
- Format data. For a clean MIUI flash, yes. Dirty flashing is where bootloops come from, and this is not the build to experiment on.
- A backup. Everything on internal storage goes.
- The right cable and a settled mind. Half the flash failures out there are a cable that moved.
The base is MIUI 13 on Android 12, so if a feature of MIUI 14 matters to you, it is not in this build.
If the driver and platform tools side of flashing is the part you dread, the free Rom Flasher tool on GitHub handles the ADB and fastboot driver install in a couple of clicks. It is free, and the link is in the downloads section.
One honest note to finish on. This is a stable branch, so it is a good place to be if you want the phone to just work. Do the clean flash, format data, and let the first boot finish before you start restoring anything.

EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 on the Xiaomi 11T Pro — a stable MIUI 13 build on an Android 12 base, and everything that changed inside it.
EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 is the stable branch for the 11T Pro, sitting on MIUI 13 over an Android 12 base, and this one reads more like a polish pass than a rebuild. The team went back through the code end to end, cleaned up the annoying bits — notification colouring, the calls log page, power menu behaviour — and reworked the installer down to roughly 40 seconds. Small things, but they're the ones you notice every single day.

❓ Common Questions

- Do I need to format data? For a clean MIUI flash, yes — dirty flashes are where bootloops come from.
- What's the base? MIUI 13 on Android 12.
Common questions
Which device is EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 for?
It is built for the Xiaomi 11T Pro only. Do not flash it on another model, even one that looks similar, because a mismatched ROM leaves you with a phone that will not boot.
Do I need to format data before flashing EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0?
Yes. A clean MIUI flash means formatting data, and a dirty flash on this kind of build is where bootloops come from. Back up first, because formatting erases internal storage.
What Android version is EliteRomNG 13.0.7.0 based on?
MIUI 13 on an Android 12 base. That is the foundation for this stable branch, so if you need something from a newer Android version, this build will not have it.
Is root required for EliteRomNG?
No. Root is optional here, and the build works fine without it. Flash it, set the phone up and use it as-is if you do not need root for anything specific.
How long does the EliteRomNG installer take?
Around 40 seconds in this build, using the new installer method the team introduced. It is a short install, which also means there is less time for a cable or connection problem to interrupt it.
Before you flash
- Back up everything you would miss — unlocking and flashing usually wipe the phone.
- Check the file is built for your exact model and region.
- Keep a PC and a working cable around so a bootloop can be recovered.
